What is Hard Edge Glass?
Hard Edge Glass is a contemporary style of fused glass art characterized by bold geometric designs, clean lines, and vibrant colors. It originated in the UK and AWinburnART is proud to be among the first to bring this style to the United States. Each piece is created by carefully cutting and arranging colored glass before firing it in a kiln, resulting in a smooth, luminous finish.
Are your pieces truly one of a kind?
Yes! Every piece in the AWinburnART collection is handcrafted individually. No two pieces are exactly alike, which means when you purchase from us, you're getting a truly unique work of art.
What sizes are your pieces?
Sizes vary by piece and are listed in each product description. Currently, pieces are created up to 13.5 square inches in our home studio. Larger custom pieces are possible but may require an additional firing fee at a specialized facility — this will be discussed and quoted during the custom order process.
Care Instructions
How do I care for my fused glass piece?
To keep your piece looking its best, we recommend hand washing with a mild dish soap, then hand drying with a clean cloth or allowing it to air dry.
Please do not place your fused glass piece in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, or refrigerator. Exposure to extreme or rapid temperature changes can damage the glass.
Can I display my piece outdoors?
We recommend displaying your piece indoors, away from prolonged direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations, to preserve its colors and integrity over time.
Shipping & Packaging
How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Once shipped, delivery time will depend on the USPS service selected at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
How do you package fragile glass pieces?
Every piece is packaged with great care using protective materials specifically suited for fragile art. We take the safety of your order seriously and pack each piece to withstand the journey to your door.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
We're so sorry if that happens! Please photograph both the packaging and the damaged item immediately upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours at angie@awinburnart.com. We'll work quickly to make it right.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return policy. If you'd like to return an item, you must request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, the item (and any included accessories) must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
To start a return, contact us at angie@awinburnart.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Please note that the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
